Totten Whitman family papers include letters primarily written by [Miss] Franc Totten, ca. 1850-1900, Buchanan, Michigan; and Civil War letters written by Franc Totten's brother, Emmitt, while serving in the Michigan 25th Infantry. Also includes letters written by Franc Totten Whitman's son, Frank, before and while attending the University of Michigan, 1870-1877; and family photographs and account books.
